2011 Hyundai i40
The first spy photos of the 2011 Hyundai i40 sedan, which will replace the model Sonata. The car was filmed without camo in South Korea during a promotional photo shoots.
New Hyundai Sonata (i40) is built on a new platform and will be offered with diesel engines series “R”, which also planned to equip crossovers ix35 (replacement Tucson) and Santa Fe. Also in the scheme will gasoline four cylinder with direct fuel injection, developing 115 to 140 horsepower.
In addition, modifications are expected to appear with the hybrid power plant consisting of a 2.0-liter turbo engine (from other sources – 2.4-liter), 30-kilowatt electric motor, lithium batteries and a six-speed gearbox. The total capacity of such a powerplant reaches 228 horsepower.
Hyundai i40 will debut at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show.

Se ? questa la nuova I40, mi sembra davvero una bella automobile: bella carrozzeria e belli gli interni! Con dei buoni motori diesel e con un prezzo competitivo pu? rappresentare una valida e pi? economica alternativa alle solite berline del segmento “E”. Mi riprometto di provarla e visionarla quando la presenteranno sul mercato, ma dalle anteprime apparse in rete debbo dire che a me piace.
Credo che il mio parere sia di rilievo per i tecnici della Hyundai, poich? la I 40 rientra nel segmento di mercato di mio interesse, dato che negli ultimi 15 anni ho posseduto una Citroen XM, Alfa Romeo 166 e attualmente una Jaguar X-Type.

Una bella novit? stilistica per la “grande” di Hyundai! Un bel passo avanti rispetto alla Sonica. Con un prezzo conveniente e con motori e allestimenti adeguati sapr? farsi valere molto meglio delle precedenti ammiraglie di casa Hyundai sui mercati europei!
