
Here are the latest and most revealing spy photos of the upcoming Mercedes SLK. The baby-SLS is dropping most of its camouflage for us and shows off a lot of details. Size looks pretty much to be the same or at least very similar to the current version, and hopefully Mercedes has worked hard with the knife to cut off some unnecessary kilos and made it lighter. The grille is very much like the SLS, and we can also see the LED-indicators at the bottom of the headlight. Mirrors have moved down on the door blade and this time the folding roof will feature a big part in glass, if it will be standard or an option is not clear yet. Rear lights seem to be LED type and the ugly antenna has moved from the rear fender to the trunk.
We can expect a new range of engines and this time we will probably find a diesel engine under the hood for the first time in the SLK history. More »

There are few cars that still look fresh after five years of production and the current Mercedes CLS is one of them. No Botox needed here. But Mercedes is already working on a new CLS as we have showed before with photos of full camouflaged prototypes. And the reason has nothing to do with the looks, but more with the technicals under the skin.
