Why does it look like an F430?
It is what they call a “mule”. They use a production car fitted with the project car’s engine and drive train for testing. Not sure if they pick a production car that’s close to their final goals in terms of weight, wheel base, etc etc as much as if it can just carry the appropriate hardware.
