I am desperate to know when this will hit the USA. Yes, I know some say “2010″ but does that mean “late 2009″ or really 2010? Why such a wait to get this here?( I know about the dealer refusal for the current verson. WHAT were they thinking?) It should have been sold here already and if Suzuki hurries it up I would love one. A MINI Cooper / Cooper S competitor for thousands less.
Here it is mid June 09 and still no word on the intro of the Suzuki Swift / Swift Sport in the USA. Lets go already Suzuki …you guys are really trying my patience.
As a 2007 MINI Cooper S owner I would trade my unreliable car with engine and clutch problems that MINI refuses to fix in for one of these the minute they hit US shores.
GUYS AND GIRLS DON’T HOLD YOUR BREATH, THE SWIFT SPORT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE IN 2004, I DON’T KNOW EITHER WHY THEY WAIT AND WATCH WHILE CRAPPY COMPANIES LIKE KIA AND FORD TAKE ALL THE PRAISE. THIS CAR WOULD SELL LIKE CRAZY, AND I’M STILL WAITING, I OWN A SUZUKI AERIO, AND REALLY WANT THE SWIFT SPORT, BUT I THINK IT WON’T BE COMING TOO OUR SHORES.
